The Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic & Allied industries interactive dictionary is available for viewing on line. This interactive dictionary provides a comparison between common pharmaceutical, cosmetic & allied industry terms (such as; consistency and yield stress etc) and an equipment matrix to identify the correct instrument to characterise a material for each specific industry term.
The comparison has been developed to show the shear rate ( s-1) and/or viscosity (mPa.s) range for each term and identifies the appropriate instrument solution.
